Sandy Shecter, Certified Public Accountant (CPA), is a member of MSW Group, PLC and has been a vital part of the firm for over 16 years. Sandy graduated from the University of Michigan in 1986. She chairs our Business Tax Flow Procedures and has been instrumental in taking our firm to a "paperless" environment.
Sandy specializes in accounting for the service industry, concentrating in the legal and medical practice industries. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants.
MSW clients have come to appreciate Sandy's development and instructional skills on subjects related to medical practices such as: managing a medical practice, financial statement analysis and cash flow enhancement. Sandy has also conducted Explanation of Benefits studies and evaluated the overall office flow and structure for her clients.
In addition, Sandy is the president of Women's American ORT, Michigan Region, and is involved with several charitable organizations. Her passion for giving back to the community has been demonstrated by her serving on several major fund raising committees.
Sandy resides in Farmington Hills, Michigan with her husband and three children.
