Sharon Berman, Certified Public Accountant (CPA), is a member of MSW Group, PLC. She graduated from Michigan State University with a B.A. in Accounting and was employed in the Detroit office of Ernst & Young prior to joining MSW Group in 1992.
Sharon's expertise is primarily business consulting, accounting and auditing. She is a member of the firm's Accounting Service Line Group in which she devotes a significant amount of her time researching accounting issues, best practices and developing and implementing educational programs for the firm. Sharon oversees the firm's accounting technical review program. She has been instrumental in developing and monitoring MSW's quality control programs to insure clients are afforded quality accounting and auditing services. Sharon's diligent leadership and guidance through the Peer Review process has kept our firm in good standing relative to meeting our industry standards. She has also enhanced the delivery of accounting and tax services through outsourcing opportunities, and has been recognized for providing outstanding client solutions utilizing technology.
Sharon is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants.
She resides in Novi, Michigan with her husband and three children. Outside of work, Sharon enjoys playing golf and spending time with her family in their school and sports activities.
